Why is decision making in corporate environments such a slow drawn out process? Is this just about political courtesy or is it because of fear of failure – or something else?
This really depends on the culture you’re referring to with the slow and drawn out process. Japan? US? China? Your harsh judgment is a perspective issue. It’s slow for you, but right paced for the organization as a whole. Consider if you are a fit for the culture you’re operating in. You may be far happier and healthier in an organization that moves at a rate closer to your personal pace.
