Betsy Pickren is President of Facilitated Learning, Inc. which focuses on promoting healthy, vibrant leaders and teams. She has a special interest in supporting people in elected public office to lead with authenticity, integrity and courage Ms. Pickren’s interest in the continued vitality of political leadership can be attributed to the fact that both her father and grandfather served as county commissioners. She saw first hand the kind of commitment and character it takes to participate in the political system.

As Vice-president for Client Services in Zenger-Miller, an international leadership development training and consulting firm, she managed a segment of the company responsible for serving the needs of more than 3000 clients. Rounding out her background, Ms. Pickren has experience on the “client side” through in-house management positions in banking and government. She was a member of the Carter-Mondale Transition Team and later supervisor of presidential personnel, The White House.

As a Certified Professional Coach through the International Coach Federation, she is clear about her calling – creating safe spaces for people to learn, grow and develop their strengths in service of their chosen missions.
